Shipping information

Hillside Quilting has always and will always sourced the best shipping methods to get your orders to the customer.

This is not always the cheapest but isn't necessarily prohibitively expensive either.

When we order threads and templates from the US we get these delivered by DHL courier, with orders arriving within 7 to 10 days from dispatch. This is a very reliable service in an uncertain world.

We then use Australia Express post with signature for delivery to your door.

This again is very reliable and if there are issues with Australia Post, this service is rarely affected. We charge you the customer $15 for this service. It actually costs more than that but we carry the extra cost to be able to offer you a timely service and peace of mind.

The peace of mind is delivered by using the signature on delivery option. This means that if a parcel goes astray then we can follow it up and ensure that the parcel gets to the right place.

We will always put your delivery first and do our very best to get it out to you as fast as we can.

The process from your order being received by us and you getting it in your hands is generally no longer than 4 weeks if we have to order stock in for you.

Just a few days if the stock is available immediately.

Here is how the process works

Step 1

You place your order via the website or by calling us to help you.

Step 2

We check stock levels and if everything is available your order will be mailed express post with signature within 3 days.

Step 3

If all your items are not in stock we will email you to let you know.

Step 4

Orders to suppliers are placed weekly by Hillside Quilting and if what you require is not in stock, then your items will be added to that list.

Step 5

Our suppliers deliver to us, using DHL express from overseas and Express post options in Australia.

Step 6

We receive our orders usually within 2 weeks of placing them if they are overseas or quicker if it is local.

Step 7

We unpack our bulk orders and repack your individual order and post out using Express post with signature.

Step 8

You receive your order usually within a couple of days and get to play with your items.

 

RETURNS/CANCELLATIONS

CLASS BOOKINGS ARE FINAL AND NON REFUNDABLE. PLEASE CHECK DATES CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BOOK. Any questions please call Anita on 0430 135281.

Gift cards are non refundable and valid for classes or purchases one year from purchase date.

PDF downloads and online classes are non refundable because of the nature of the product.  If you have any questions please call to ask them before you purchase the class or pattern.

TIDY TOTE Kits and patterns are shipped all over the world.

QUILTING SUPPLIES

I only ship Templates/Rulers to Australia and New Zealand.

See Sewsteady.com or your local supplier if you are in another country.

 

Returns: Should you have any reason to return goods, such as damaged in transit, you must contact us first giving full particulars.  We do not refund due to change of mind.
